Most New Year’s resolutions are long forgotten by the time February rolls around. Post holiday craziness, we get into the hustle and bustle of our daily routine, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with our resolutions, especially if they are health oriented. Thanks to iDevices, everyday cooking can both be as easy as it is healthy. Here are some tips to keep up with your resolutions and not lose sight of your goals:

  • Be proactive is planning out a weekly meal schedule. Do your grocery shopping on Saturday and prepare your meals on Sunday. Grill or bake your chicken and freeze it for the end of the week. Being prepared for the week will cut out calories and cut out spending dollars that would otherwise be spent on take out.
  • Be smart about keeping your body active. Instead of waiting for the elevator at work, take the stairs to burn off that ice cream you had last night. Don't order lunch, eat your prepared meal instead and take some free time to take a walk and burn some calories. If your feeling extra motivated, go to your local gym and sign up for a spinning or Pilates class.
  • Be creative about your cooking and don't give up on boring recipes. Pick up a cookbook to add a twist to old recipes you already know how to make. Use the Kitchen Thermometer or iGrill to help you master and hone your hidden culinary abilities. By using these tools, you won't be tied to the kitchen and will still be able to create delicious home cooked meals.

We hope these tips help you out as you embark on your health-driven journey for 2015. Remember, all you need is some desire for change and you will be headed in the right direction for success.
